Our owners Leanne Morris and Tracey Ivanovski opened the Brisbane salon five years ago. As well as being Queensland’s premier day spa, Raby Bay currently holds the APAA Best Day Spa in Australia award, and the ASpa’s Best Day Spa in Australia Reader’s Choice Award. (Not bad, huh.)

But it was time to grow.

So we introduced the Harbour Day Spa Gold Coast, located at the Phoenician Resort in Broadbeach (previously the Phoenician Spa Retreat). The Gold Coast salon has duplicated Raby Bay’s winning combination: a relaxing, indulgent paradise incorporating a medi-spa as well as a full hair salon and makeup boutique. This is full-scale opulence: elegant Mediterranean fittings, 10 treatment rooms, a roman bath, steam room, sauna and a plunge pool. It perfectly caters to solo spa-goers after total tranquility, and girly groups ready for fizz and fuchsia pedicures.

Have both. We’re often forced to choose between a traditional relaxing spa experience and the stark surrounds of a skincare clinic.
